加拿大ILAC Pathway

請問我想到加拿大讀碩士MBA，請問ILAC的條件式入學該如何申請?

條件式入學的升學管道，也就是如果未達到托福或雅思成績，無法直接申請學院 (2-year college)、大學 (4-year university)、研究所 (2-year graduate school)、私立專門學院 (private college) 等，那可以藉由語言學校有合作的學校伙伴，有條件的先提早申請。

也就是先進語言學校讀 「捷徑課程」，英文統稱叫Pathway Program。也就是讀該校的英文到要求的英文級數(English Level)，就可以抵托福或雅思成績，直接申請學院 、大學、研究所 ，簡單點講就是先看成績單，先不看英文，就可以預先知道可以申請上或不上，英文要求這項就晚點補就可以了，也是先卡位的意思。否則萬一太晚拿到托福或雅思成績，再申請也能來不及或沒名額,。

ILAC是加拿大目前語最多的大學，學院，研究所合作的語言學校，他們有專門的Academic Consultant，會協助學生申請，以下是學校Pathway的說明：

Program Length and Intake- MBA ISP (16 months) August

Application Fee – MBA (ISP) : $130

Deadline – MBA (ISP) : rolling deadline (Submitting applications by the end of Feb is encouraged)

Once online application is submitted, student will receive an email from Brock University with Campus ID.

The student will need to log into Brock Portal and upload documents listed below. (we can also help with uploading documents.)

• Scans of original transcripts from all post-secondary institutions (Original Language & Notarized English translation)
• Scans of original certificate of graduation/degree completion (Original Language & Notarized English translation)
• Statement of interest (One page for MBA-ISP, 500-800 words for MEd-ISP)
• Graduate Studies Internal Scholarship/Award Application (student needs to complete the forms online)
• Resumé detailing professional and educational experience
• Reference Reports (2 referees for Med-ISP, 3 referees for MBA-ISP, the referees will receive an email from Brock and they need to submit the reference report via electronic referee system.)

※Original university documents are not required to be mailed from their university to Brock as a part of the application process.

Student can mail the documents from Canada after getting admitted.

*Conditional admission

MBA ISP: offer conditional admission to ILAC applicants.

The applicant successfully passing the interview, and successfully completing Pathway3.3 (Level 15) *Students should plan to finish Pathway3.3 by May 1st, so that they will have time to register for courses and complete other administrative tasks prior to their start in August.

Master of Business Administration- MBA

• Pathway level: Pathway 3.2 completion (Level 15)
• Length: 1-2 years depend on student’s progress
• Intake: January, April, July, September
• Application deadline: Rolling base, will accept applicants as long as program is still available.
• Application fee: free for ILAC students
• Tuition fee: $34,560
• Admission requirements:

ü 4 year degree in a relevant field, with min. GPA B (3.0/4.33)

ü Additional requirement- one of the following:

• Acceptable GRE or GMAT score
• Hold profession designation such AS CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, P.ENG, etc
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration
• Min. of two years documented professional or management experience.
• Supporting documents:

ü  University degree

ü  University transcript

ü  2 letters of reference to proof academic ability to study educational contents and conduct research.

ü  Personal Statement

ü  Resume

Note: Applicants with GPA between 2.7-2.99, or don’t have one the additional requirement, they can join MBA Foundation program for one term.
